Welcome to the Novak household – your neighborhood’s unofficial headquarters for local love, grassroots grit, and the occasional Nerf dart to the forehead. I’m John Novak, founder of Kings Court Local and your friendly, slightly obsessive Community Ambassador. I built this platform to spotlight everything local – because let’s be honest, the big guys already have enough billboards, algorithms, and yachts. I believe communities thrive not when they compete, but when they collaborate. If we all “community” better, we all live better. Simple as that. My better half, Elliot, is the true queen of the castle. She’s got a green thumb and an eye for design that makes even our dog consider feng shui. She’s dreaming up her own business, probably involving plants, throw pillows, and cozy lighting that instantly makes you want to open up about your childhood. And when she does launch – watch out world. Our son Crosby, age 11, is the creative firecracker behind the scenes. He’s passionate about Minecraft, Wreckfest, and turning our living room into a Nerf warzone. He’s a future YouTuber in training – and yes, part of the reason I built this whole platform is so kids like him could see their passions supported by the very communities they live in. Frasier, our highly sophisticated dog (in his own mind), mostly supervises all of us. His hobbies include sunbathing, judging us silently, and ensuring no treat goes uneaten. At the heart of it all, we’re just a local family that believes big business has taken too much for too long. Life’s not a zero-sum game. If we lift each other up – our businesses, our families, our neighborhoods – everyone wins. Let’s build, not bulldoze. Let’s share, not sell out. We are the Novaks.
